Window Galleries: Flying back｜櫥窗畫廊—回翔

“Window Galleries: Flying back” is one of the project “Looking Back: Koganecho”.
The tiny changes that take place in our day to day lives eventually build up to form a large cumulative change.
Tsai Kuen-Lin, an artist who participated in 2010’s Koganecho Bazaar, returns once more, eight years later for this year’s 2018 Bazaar. This time around, having flown back, he attempts to plainly present to the people of the local community the small but significant changes that have taken place since his last visit, eight years ago. These shifts in scenery, which will be shown in the window galleries scattered around Koganecho, raise the question: What kinds of life do we seek.

日常生活の些細な変化は、積み重なって大きな変化となる。
黄金町バザール2018参加アーティストである蔡坤霖（ツァイ・クェンリン）は、8年前の黄金町バザール2010にも参加した経験がある。再びこの地に訪れた彼は、を飾り気のない視点を通して、8年の間に生じた小さくて大きなまちの変化を住民たちに提示することを試みる。まちなかに点在するウィンドウギャラリーに提示された8年間の変化は、私たちはどのような生活を求めているかという問いを生み出する。
