Koganecho Bazaar 2010｜黃金町藝術市集

With a theme of “Sightseeing and Art,” the 2010 Koganecho Bazaar sought to let visitors experience the characteristic mix of old and new aspects in Koganecho. Art works could be found throughout the town within its distinctively small, narrow buildings, on the steel walls beneath the Keikyu railway, and even in the narrow back alleys at night. Besides individual art works by artists, two guest curators were also invited to organize two additional projects of their own. Other projects included the “Hinode Ryugu Project” held within a former “ryokan,” or Japanese-style inn, and the “Architecture Planet Project” which involved the conversion of a two-story, partitioned building by five different architects/architect teams.

「観光とアート」をテーマに、新しいまちと古いまちが入交じった黄金町の魅力を回遊するプラグラムを開催。小規模店舗の空間、京急線の高架の鋼板、また路地裏など、街の各所にアート作品を配置しました。個々の作品展示の他、ゲストキュレーターによるふたつのプロジェクトを展開しました。また日ノ出町にある元旅館で開催した日ノ出竜宮プロジェクト、初音町にある長屋形式２階建ての建物を５組の建築家がコンバージョンしたArchitecture Planet Projectの建築プロジェクトを行いました。
