“Sound cocoon” is a new piece specially created for the district of Tianmu. On the green patch inside Tianmu Sports Park, the artist uses artificial pipes to create various nest-like spiral sculptures. The artwork is not only a visual spectacle; it also integrates regional traits that are distinct to Tianmu. When audiences enter into the artwork, the 360 degree circular space is used to play different sounds the artist has collected around Tianmu. Together, with the pipes transmitting various sounds from the artwork site. So, these sounds seem to have taken shelter inside the cocoon.
