「水景成功」挖掘並展現了台東成功鎮沿岸太平洋的水下聲響，不僅進行了聲音錄製，更在作品的造型設計上巧妙地融入了地方特色與遺構。
作品借用了即將消逝於歷史洪流中的旗魚台（即鏢旗魚時使用的特殊船首）元素，並將其與廢棄的魚塭、九孔池的抽水塔進行了巧妙的結合。這些元素的選用不僅是對傳統技術和地方紋理的致敬，也是對於成功鎮特有景觀的深刻反映。
此作品力圖傳達的，是那些即將從我們視野中消失，卻也同時無法被直接聽見的成功景觀。這些風景，無一例外地皆與水息息相關，可以說是「成功的水風景」。
通過這樣的藝術呈現，「水景成功」捕捉了地方獨特的自然和文化景觀，更試圖給予觀者對於環境保護和文化傳承的深刻思考。
“Aquatic Scenery of Chenggong” delves into and unveils the underwater sounds of the Pacific Ocean along the coast of Chenggong Town in Taitung, Taiwan. This work not only captures audio recordings but also ingeniously incorporates local characteristics and relics into its design.
The artwork cleverly utilizes elements of the ‘flagship,’ a special bow used for sailfish fishing, which is on the brink of being lost in the annals of history. It seamlessly combines these with discarded elements such as fish pond water towers, used in abalone farming. The choice of these elements serves as a homage to traditional techniques and the local texture, as well as a profound reflection of the unique landscape of Chenggong Town.
What this piece endeavors to communicate is the unseen and unheard landscapes of Chenggong, those that are on the verge of disappearing from our sight. These landscapes are inextricably linked to water, constituting what can be described as ‘the aquatic scenery of Chenggong.’
Through such artistic presentation, “The Aquatic Scenery of Chenggong” captures the unique natural and cultural landscape of the locale, while also encouraging viewers to ponder deeply on issues of environmental conservation and cultural heritage.
「水景成功」は台東県成功鎮の沿岸、太平洋の水中音響を掘り起こし、展示するプロジェクトです。これには音声の録音だけでなく、地元の特色や遺構を巧妙に取り入れた作品デザインも含まれています。
作品は、歴史の流れの中で消失しつつある旗魚台（カジキマグロを槍で狩る際に使用される特殊な船首）の要素を借用し、それを廃棄された魚塭やアワビの池のポンプタワーと巧みに組み合わせています。これらの要素の選択は、伝統技術と地方のテクスチャへの敬意であり、成功鎮独自の風景を深く反映しています。
この作品が伝えようとしているのは、私たちの視界から消えつつあり、同時に直接聞くことができない成功の風景です。これらの風景は例外なく水と密接に関連しており、「成功の水風景」と言えます。
